James McCartney and Sean Ono Lennon release ‘Primrose Hill’

Paul McCartney allegedly wrote ‘The Fool on the Hill’ about a mysterious man he saw standing on Primrose Hill. Now his son, James McCartney has teamed up with Sean Ono Lennon to collaborate on a song about Primrose Hill. The song’s release was announced on X by McCartney who added “With the release of this song it feels like we’re really getting the ball rolling and I am so excited to continue to share music with you. I had a vision as a child in Scotland, on what was a lovely summer’s day. Letting go I saw my true love and saviour in my mind’s eye. ‘Primrose Hill’ is about getting the ball rolling with me and finding this person.”

McCartney and Ono Lennon encouraged couples to contribute to the song’s music video by submitting short videos. To enter the competition, send a video of between 1 and 3 minutes to the link below. The video must capture the essence of love and romance, while showcasing the beauty of the couple’s favourite location. Couples should be seen enjoying each other’s company, engaging in activities, and listening to the song ‘Primrose Hill’.

The entire video must feature the song ‘Primrose Hill’ as the background music and no other music or soundtracks are allowed. Videos should be original creations and not include any copyrighted material apart from the specific song.
