We asked some of our readers to let us know what it was like to go along to the classes and events at the Primrose Hill Community Centre. So here is what they had to say, and it may help you to keep some of those New Year resolutions!
Two years ago the prize-winning conductor Matthew Watts launched the Primrose Hill Community Choir. Sixty people turned up on the first night and we have been going strong ever since. We are a choir of all ages and abilities, some of us read music and some of us don’t – we just enjoy singing.
Help is provided by Matthew to follow and read music, with singing technique and there are opportunities for budding soloists to perform. We sing all styles of music, including lively gospel songs, tuneful classical and world music, pop songs and songs from musicals. Continue reading “We Just Enjoy Singing”
