Camden Eco Champion Awards

The Camden Eco Champion Awards is a competition that recognises and celebrates those in our community that go above and beyond to protect the environment.

It aims to highlight those that are committed to creating positive change, and show that any initiative, however small or large, should be rewarded and celebrated.

If you have a friend, family member, colleague, neighbour, or teacher who lives, works, or studies in Camden, and that you think is an Eco Champion and should be rewarded for their work then you can nominate them for an Eco Champion Award. All nominations are then marked by a panel of judges to determine the top three eco champions for each of the four categories.

Finalists will be invited to an awards ceremony where they will announce 3rd, 2nd, and 1st in each category, and give out a range of fantastic prizes.

There are four categories:

  • Mini Warriors (5-11 year olds),
  • Junior Heroes (12-17 year olds)
  • Local Leaders (18+) but
  • Super Schools

Nominations close on October 17th.

The prize ceremony will take place at the Roundhouse on the evening of Tuesday 21 of November, where each finalist will be given a medal or trophy and a prize.

The Camden Clean Air Initiative, a not-for-profit aiming to reduce air pollution in Camden, is running The Camden Eco Champion Awards for the third year in a row.

The Camden Clean Air Initiative is a non-profit action group aiming to improve air quality across the Borough of Camden. By working closely with the entire community, including schools, businesses, and residents, as well as the local authority, they provide resources and support alongside their clean air projects. Their projects increase awareness and education around air pollution, and aim to introduce policy and infrastructural change, to propel Camden forward as a Borough of excellence.
