Proposition Camden

Proposition Camden are a charity, based next to the Roundhouse, that supports emerging artists, runs a public programme of art and ecology events and provokes imagination and action around the potential positive impact human beings can have on biodiversity and ecological resilience.

Starting on Friday March 15, they will be holding art exhibitions in their studio that explores the depths of human emotions through art. These events are for anyone who loves art and wants to support local artists and their local community.

This in-person exhibition will take place at 100a Chalk Farm Rd, NW1 8EH, from 12 to 6pm everyday. Get ready to be captivated by a diverse collection of artworks that address and express the universal themes of love, death, and desire.

With thought-provoking visual displays, this free exhibition promises to ignite your senses and leave you with a renewed appreciation for the power of art. Originally a group exhibition focusing on the new works of Dan Llywelyn Hall (b. 1980), Simon Page (b. 1962) and Glyn Dillon (b. 1971), this show now also includes responses from resident artists at Proposition Camden.

Free tickets here.

And on Saturday 23 March from 2 – 7pm there is a free open studio event inspired by the exhibition.

Featuring painting, sculpture, performance, and live music from Peng Femme Jam (@pengfemmejam).

Meet artists and creatives from different backgrounds and disciplines in Proposition’s building in Chalk Farm, experience and learn about their work and explore the studios.

Sign up to their mailing list to keep in the loop about our events, programming and studio vacancies.
