The sun is out, and with it, the mobile phone thieves. This is a time when we need to be extra vigilant and aware of our surroundings. These opportunistic thieves can move very quickly, so prevent it by keeping valuables out of sight.
On Thursday, June 27, multiple attempted thefts occurred at Regents Park Road, Gloucester Avenue, Primrose Hill Road, Chalk Farm Tube Station, and England’s Lane. Perpetrators operating in pairs appear to target individuals with bold and audacious approaches. These incidents have been officially reported to the police and posted on Nextdoor and other social media platforms.
What can we do? We can all raise awareness, both online and offline, about the importance of staying safe and being mindful of our surroundings, especially when using our phones.
