Primrose Hill Streateries

Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views on the Primrose Hill Streateries on Regent’s Park Road and Erskine Road. Camden Streateries had 39 responses and following the consultation made the decision to continue them on a trial basis for up to 18 months which began in April.

You can read the decision report and their feedback to the consultation responses

The Streateries have been tidied up since the consultation was held earlier this year, and the plastic bollards have been replaced by large wooden planters. Further improvements are planned.

You may have noticed that there is more rubbish waiting on the pavements for collection, but this is not solely because of an increase of local diners. Many of the flats above the shops are now on short-term lets, including AirBnB. The tenants have no bins, so of course they put their bags of rubbish on top of any existing pile. Discussions with Camden are on-going, with a view to perhaps getting large bins put against the blank walls of some of the side streets, for use by all.
