Constituency Review Consultation

The Boundary Commission for England are currently reviewing Parliamentary constituencies, to rebalance the number of electors in each area. Primrose Hill, currently in Keir Starmer’s constituency of Holborn and St Pancras, is due to move to the newly re-established seat of Hampstead and Highgate.

The seat of Hampstead and Highgate was abolished in the 2010 general election, with the electorate being split between the new constituency of Hampstead and Kilburn under Tulip Siddiq, and Holborn and St Pancras. The 2023 review of the Boundary Commissions proposes to re-establish the seat in its revised proposal.

Consultations are running until 5 December and the maps will be finalised next summer.
