If you book yourself a special treat for Valentine’s Day, you could make a valuable contribution to the community at the same time.
St Mary’s Church will be holding a Valentine’s Ball with all proceeds from ticket sales going to the outreach projects in the church.
The event is the inspiration of Lorna Bladen, who recently moved to Primrose Hill. Lorna founded Luna Events in 2016, which assists brands with their marketing and events, and she will be launching Luna Life, a charitable side project, in the near future. [email protected]
Recently Lorna raised £800 for the church as part of their Advent Sleep-out Challenge, and was so inspired by their work that she decided to take her contribution one step further and create a special fundraiser event.
The evening will include a drinks reception, live DJ and magical surprises. All the money raised will go to community outreach projects to improve people’s mental well-being.
