Community Support for Oldfield

In true Primrose Hill spirit, our wonderful community have shown their kindness and love for our neighbours in Oldfield. This week we opened our free community shop in Oldfield.

Our in-house team were busy delivering care packages to the residents, who were happy to know the community have not forgotten them. They were delighted with the goodies.

A huge thanks go to our local Primrose Hill Butchers who donated 120 eggs, bacon and sausages today and have committed to a weekly drop-off.

Our dear friends at Primrose Corner / Post Office are working out the logistics to be able to accept payments over the phone that will be credited to ‘Oldfield shopping list’, and are giving us the goods at cost price.

Donations can be dropped off at:

  • Primrose Hill Butchers (65 Regent’s Park Road)
  • Anthony’s Deli (145 Regent’s Park Road)

To keep the residents safe, please no drop-offs at Oldfield itself. But if you are self-isolating, we can safely pick up from your home.

If you are doing a shop, please add some ready meals for those who are unable to cook. These can be dropped off at Anthony’s Deli, who have given us a fridge.
Here is a shopping list of useful items.

  • Milk
  • Bread
  • Cereals
  • Tea
  • Tins of beans
  • Rice
  • Pasta

Our aim is to also provide daily newspapers, fresh fruit and veg, meat, milk, cheese etc. and ready meals.
