London Zoo threat of closure

London Zoo is under threat of closure. Its main source of income comes from visitors; but since the zoo closed at the beginning of lockdown, there has been little money coming in to feed the 20,000 animals housed there. As well as the zoo being an attraction for visitors, it’s also involved with vital conservation and educational work.

Primrose Hill resident Garry Mancini has started a fundraising appeal for the zoo.
